Troubleshooting: Team invite or join not working

Invite not received, join link expired, or new member can't see the right pages.

  • Invitee didn't receive the email – Ask them to check spam/junk. Confirm the email address is correct and send the invite again from Teams.
  • Join link expired – Invite links are valid for a limited time. Send a new invite from Teams so they get a fresh link (`/auth/join-team`).
  • Already have an account – If the invitee already has a Togetha account, they should use Join team with that account so the new organisation is linked to their profile.
  • Can't see dashboard or certain pages – Page access is controlled by permissions. Edit the team member’s permissions in Teams and ensure the relevant pages (e.g. Manage, Finance, Vault) are enabled for their role.
  • Wrong team or organisation – If the user has multiple teams, they need to switch team (team selector in the app) to see the right organisation’s data.
