Tolulope Arobieke Wins “Future Leader” at the UKPA PropTech Awards
togetha congratulates our CEO and Co Founder, Tolulope Arobieke, on being awarded “Future Leader” at the UK PropTech Association’s annual UK PropTech Awards. Now in its eighth year, the ceremony continues to champion individuals and organisations pushing the property sector toward a more sustainable, digitally enabled and customer centric future. For us at togetha, this recognition is more than an accolade. It is a reflection of the direction we believe the industry must move in and the impact that committed innovators can have when tackling long standing challenges.
The UK PropTech sector today stands at a significant inflection point. The pace of digital transformation has accelerated across the real estate landscape, propelled by shifting customer expectations, environmental priorities and a broader economic climate that demands smarter, more resilient approaches.
At the awards ceremony, UKPA Director Sammy Pahal opened with a powerful observation. She noted that the UK PropTech sector is uniquely positioned to be a real lever for economic growth. Her point resonated widely in the room.
Many of the finalists across categories, including established names such as KPMG and Lloyds Bank, are demonstrating that the industry is no longer experimenting with digital solutions. It is adopting them at scale.
Tolulope echoed this sentiment in his response to the award. “We are at a transformative moment for the UK property sector. Technology is no longer a supporting actor. It is a catalyst for economic growth and a route to unlocking new value for households, landlords and institutions. I am honoured to receive this award, but the real achievement is seeing the industry shift toward innovation that genuinely serves people. The future we are building at togetha is one where renting works better for everyone.”
Across the sector, there is growing recognition of the need for solutions that connect financial wellbeing, housing security and long term opportunity. PropTech firms are increasingly designing platforms that respond to real world pressures, such as affordability gaps, administrative bottlenecks and fragmented customer experiences. The days of purely incremental improvements are fading. In their place is a new wave of ventures and partnerships focused on systemic change.
Tolulope’s work at togetha reflects this approach. By addressing the friction points that renters and housing providers routinely face, togetha seeks to support a market that functions more equitably. The award acknowledges his leadership in this mission and the potential for these ideas to scale across the UK. It also highlights the collective direction of the sector. The finalists represented a broad spectrum of innovation, from financial infrastructure to sustainability tooling. This diversity is a strength. It signals that PropTech is maturing into an ecosystem rather than a loose collection of niche products.
Events like the UK PropTech Awards serve a valuable purpose. They create space to reflect on progress, to share learning and to recognise those who demonstrate that impact and innovation can coexist. As the industry continues to evolve, the contributions of founders, technologists and organisational leaders will help shape how customers engage with property in the years ahead.
Tolulope concluded his remarks with a clear message about collaboration. “The momentum we are seeing across PropTech is encouraging, but long term success relies on partnership. Regulators, investors, public sector organisations and technology companies all have essential roles in shaping the future. I am optimistic about what comes next for our sector and proud that togetha is part of this movement.”
We extend our thanks to the UKPA for celebrating the people and organisations committed to meaningful change. And once again, congratulations to Tolulope on this well deserved recognition.
